Description

We are seeking to find a strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) project manager with expertise in functional modules. Extensive experience is required in project management of JD Edwards implementations, upgrades, and global deployments. The project manager should have experience managing medium to large teams of functional, and technical resources on JD Edwards related projects. The consultant is responsible for knowing the functions of the JD Edwards E1 software and how each supports the end users in the various departments. The project manager will work closely with client stakeholders plan and execute projects that drive business value.  The project manager will provide functional leadership in support of daily efforts within each department as well as guiding the JD Edwards Developers through structured methodology.

  1. 5+ years’ experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne project management
  2. Experience managing JD Edwards implementation, and upgrades
  3. Experience with project management methodologies, creating project estimates and plans
  4. Strong understanding and experience with project management documentation and creation of project deliverables
  5. Understanding/experience with integration points into JD Edwards
  6. Possess expertise in technical aspects of JDE a plus
  7. Must be able to travel to client locations
  8. Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  9. Must provide accurate and consistent status reports to clients and other stakeholders

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (business, engineering or related field recommended);
  2. Knowledge of theories, principles and concepts typically acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree.
